New value insurance for new cars — covers losses at the car’s original purchase price, typically within two years and under a mileage limit
Loss of use — covers rental car costs while your vehicle is out of service due to repairs
24/7 roadside assistance — whether it’s a traffic accident or a non-claim situation like a flat tire or getting stuck in snow
Covers towing your car to the repair shop after an accident — and returning it when repairs are complete
Compensation is provided even if the vehicle is stolen together with the keys or registration documents
Insurers often include specific limitations and requirements in the policy terms that the client must follow. If these requirements are not met, the insurer may reduce or deny the payout.
It is very important for the client to review the exclusions carefully!
The vehicle must have a valid technical inspection and be in roadworthy condition. For example, tire tread depth must meet road traffic regulations, window tinting must not exceed the legal limit, and the tires must be appropriate for the season
There may be limitations regarding the number of authorized drivers, the driver’s age, experience, or license categories
Restrictions on where the vehicle can be parked in urban and non-urban areas — for example, whether the car must be parked in a guarded lot at night or even during the day
Requirements to equip the vehicle with security and anti-theft systems. Each insurer may set different standards. Typically, the car must be equipped with an audible alarm and an immobilizer. Some may require an interior motion sensor, while high-value vehicles may need a tow-prevention system, GPS tracker, or radio location system
The driver was intoxicated by alcohol, drugs, or other controlled substances at the time of the incident
The driver refuses or avoids timely blood testing for alcohol or other substances
Serious violations of traffic rules — such as excessive speeding, ignoring a STOP sign, or driving through a red traffic light
The vehicle did not meet legal requirements to participate in traffic
The driver fled the accident scene
The vehicle was operated by a person without a valid license for the required category at the time of the accident
Malicious or criminal actions by the vehicle owner or authorized user
In case of theft, the full set of keys, alarm remotes, and the registration certificate of the stolen vehicle is not provided to the insurer
To ensure that KASKO insurance covers damage or other insured events, it is crucial that the policyholder acts properly and without delay.
Report the incident to the appropriate authorities. However, there are specific cases where reporting is not required — for example, if only the glass is damaged or if the vehicle was hit by a tree broken during a storm.
Take photos of the damage, if possible, to clearly show its extent at the moment of the incident.
The insurance claim must be reported to the insurance company immediately, but no later than within three working days from the moment it becomes possible to do so.
The insurance company must be given the opportunity to inspect the vehicle at its customer service center or an authorized repair shop.
Vehicle repairs are permitted only after the insurance company has completed the post-accident inspection.
